I was 12 years old again, thanks to three fabulous tweens that graced the Beehive for the second camp of the summer!
Bieber fever, Katy Perry sing-a-longs, and endless chatter about favorite movies and tv shows sprinkled through some intense art making. We focused on the ocean, since this drought in our land-locked part of the country was making us nutty, not to mention the impending school year. Each day we completed an individual project to take home, and contributed to a collaborative project on display at the Hive. Day 1, we made the Great Wave Window Installation. Day 2, Seaglass Circles. Day 3, Matisse Sticker Collage. Each step of the way we reflected on our craftsmanship, imaginations, and dynamic of working together to produce work we could not have produced by ourselves. Thanks, girls!
